I know ours was transferred to local office on March 5th. And according to myUSCIS it says we'll receive a notice in the mail before March 28th.

Same here. But myUSCIS says received on March 5th and if we don't receive a notice in the mail by March 28th to make a inquiry.

Sorry folks not really been active on Feb filers past couple of days, since the USCIS processing whatever times, I kind of thought I need to get my head around it. Talk about confusing! Any way I would totally ignore those 4 years, 2 years, don't know when we are going to get to your file rubbish. The thing is everyone/most people are getting transfers and if you haven't you will. Meaning that they have panicked and are trying to actually play catch up. I know other people have different point of views like doom and gloom, but I am still keeping on the positive and logically side of sanity!  Any how remember you are all a day closer to that approval. Believe and nothing is impossible!  May the Green Card be with you and in the mail this forthcoming week!  Happy Approval Day my fellow VJvillers!

They said they have no idea what I’m talking about and looked at me like I’m talking some kind of nonsense😄 asked me couple times where did I get that info and told me not to trust forums 😄

We know its happening, because there have been many transfers, some to Texas, some to Nebraska, some to NBC, others to field offices, some which aren't even local offices.  I guess they will release the secrecy act of these files in 50 years.  I don't know why they can't just be frank with everyone. Just say hey guys although we insisted putting up the ROC fees a year ago, we just messed up and are trying to rectify our blunder.  Nope its all secret codes, that is only meant for them, that someone deciphered. Heck, my ROC was approved on 20th of Feb, received my card last week, didn't even show up on Informed Delivery. Talk about secret. My status for ROC still says file received. Whatever, they say or don't say, I am like blah now. They aren't going to be upfront about anything. The whole system is in utter chaos and no accountability, hey lets blame it on security checks or bad weather, or whatever comes out of the hat when we do the lottery at the office each day!

No, I did not, but since the processing times messed up this week, I just felt like blah, blah and have not really been proactive on VJ.  I do not why USCIS officers would be under scrutiny, sorry just scanning the comments. I am sure these people work very hard, even though I jest about them.

 

As far as Trump goes, well not going to get into politics, however I feel there is a certain demographics that the presidential cabinet are targeting.  I actually received an email today from the President today, no idea why, I do not get involved in the political chain as I am not a citizen and cannot vote. 

 

All I know is that these waiting times are not warranted for 90 or 99 percent of immigrants/, nor are the wait times. Although there does seem to be a correlation since the new government took over. It has gone from extreme to another.  America a country built on immigration.....Hmmm laugh my socks off, perhaps once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away!

Nope if the masses think that, then it will happen, if the masses think it wont, then it wont.  Thought is a very powerful thing, especially when the masses are involved.    I hear what you are saying and I get it and I don't disrespect your opinion as you are looking at factual or reports. However, thought is a VERY powerful thing! I believe this will sort itself out and it will. Sod politics and bureaucracy. We the people can protest and lobby, eventually vote too! The masses is a powerful thing. Funnily enough, as I respond to your post, I was listening to music and this is the song!

If you do not receive your card by April 15, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

 

Just to let everyone know just got this update, they have mailed my Green card, thing is what should I do with the GC I already have?  Oh wait its the same one!!
