I absolutely do NOT. It is because they have been come accountable and they are covering their backs. Its politics nothing more. Let us all think logically about this, if they carried on they would be lobbied, they have been told off and some isolated cases have taken that long, so all in all if they have transferred cases they are in panic, if they are told off they are in panic. I believe this will be major headlines tomorrow, but again NO it wont take 4 years, not at all, only for the minority, the unfortunate ones. The rest like you were told joint N400/ROC, or even ROC alone are on their way to approval and a day nearer!

Shell, it is so hard to not panic! I think what they are doing is indecent. I know I have a very impatient nature, but this waiting time is pure torture!!!

Hi Alex, we talked yesterday on ROC via FB. I remember you and again you are beautiful, the USA should be so lucky to have you!   Fairy Shell signing off, been a rollercoaster in VJville, need to oil my wings and all that! So glad you joined us, lets stay together everyone in VJville and let the powers that be know, that this BS is NOT acceptable. It takes the masses to say NO!

I know there’s a lot of politics going on, unfortunately. I get irritated by their incompetence.  also, the IO answers during InfoPasses never match. You see, when she told me my file was still in CSC and only moved from a floor to another, I immediately thought: “hmmm this one is new! I didn’t read this one on VJ yet”).

 

I wonder if these minorities are selected randomly. 

 

I need to get myself in bed! But will be dreaming about GC coming in the mail very soon for everyone. That and N-400 interviews

I believe its the ones that have HUGE red flags, so the processing times now reflect the outside point of view. I shall  say

this you or your spouse or whoever is filing will be an American citizen within a few months and God bless Merica and all that! Goodnight, God bless:)

Yes She is a magical fairy indeed. I will tell ya again Shell @shell20, anytime I think of our forum, the little village of Vjshire it brings so much warmth to my heart, all the more because of you. Your presence on here has changed the dynamics for ever, thank you.

 

@onedaycloser Thanks for signing up and welcome !! Here is my two cents on it.  No matter what is said online or anywhere else , as long as it has not come in snail mail or declared as an official rule I would kindly urge you to hold on, wait over it and not loose sleep over their ups and downs.😘 At the end of all this you will be more trained in the art of zen than a shaolin monk😁

I see 20 months for ROC and 20 months for N-400. I don't see 4 years though. I know we made the right decision pursuing citizenship before things get more hectic here.

Any VSC February 2017 filer who haven’t got their GC? I called last week and told them my case was outside the processing time but will have to wait 15 days for response. I see they change the processing time site now. VSC should expect 12-15 months. This is crazy

If this is going to be the case for all new ROC filers they should send an extension letter for 2 years instead of 1.

I was thinking the same. That or make the conditional green card valid for 3 years. Then they could immediately apply 90 days before the expiration of the card for their N-400. Or even extend the 90 day period to 180 days to cater for snail pace processing times.... 

Sooo many things they can do.

under the current political environment,  changing the immigration law to make conditional green card from 2 years to 3 years is impossible...
