Hey Guys,

Just want share my 751 interview experience and time lines:

-my wife and I applied for 751 green card removal of the condition on Feb. 2017 (green card expired on May 2017)

-did not get any update or status, so she applied for the N400 on Feb. 2018

-did not pass the N400 interview because her English is  not "smooth" according to the immigration officer on Nov. 2018

(I should have my wife take a US citizen class, that was my bad!

(intention was to be a US citizen because the 751 was taking too long to process)

when they interview my wife for the N400, they had the evidence package that we sent to the immigration office in their hands.

if she had passed the N400, they would approve the 751 on the spot.

-Got an info pass on April 2019

-To my surprise, we got an 751 interview letter (not RFE) for May 2019

(our main evidence was our son born from the marriage)

- the interview was so easy (different immigration officer from the last visits)

he left the door opened so he boss can hear the interview, I guess they watching the interviewer too?

the immigration office said that he does not why there is an interview for us since we have a son.

-the immigration was so nice, he said that have a child is already 50% approved and the remaining 50 % are the other evidences.

-he went over all the evidence and look at all of our pictures ( my recommendation is to provide a lot pictures if you can?

-he approved the 751 and wished us good luck with N400 in Jan 2020 projected date.

-we are receiving the green card this week, they provided the tracking number.

Good luck everyone!

I got notice of approval yesterday. No RFE. No other communication. Just a 3 year, 4 months wait. Wow. N400 still pending.

Wow, oh wow. I just cannot believe that it would take 3 years and 4 months to sort out your ROC?!?!  Hopefully you will hear about your N400 very shortly and get a date for that.  I want to say congratulations to you, but I'm sure you're quite upset that they made you wait so long.  I am sorry you had to go through this.  Good luck with the N400 and keep us posted.  I am sure that the next stage will be quick. Take care.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK
