I went to infopass the last week for another stamp and the officer told me that she combined my I751 with N400  and I don't have to use I751 receipt number anymore and I have to go with N400 estimate time wich is 17 months in Houston. This is frasturating

Thats terrible! Does it mean that you can't leave the country before you finish your naturalization process?

Out of interest, how many Feb filers still haven't heard anything since NBC transfer?

I tried filing a request for case outside normal processing time (based on my filing date vs date saying that i'm eligible to file on the USCIS processing time page), but it says i'm still within the processing time...?

just thought i'd see where others are at .

Since mine was transferred there in the beginning of May I've sent 2 requests in August and November. The first said that I was on pending schedule interview and the second is that my case is just pending without mentioning any interview. Just to remind my case is with a divorce waiver.

I am, late January filler, made an inquiry on November 15. They mailed me a letter, where was said, that my case is still pending and they will send me a decision within 60 days . What was really surprising is, I filed to CSC , on 4th of April they transferred my case to Nebraska. But I got a mail about my inquiry and saw, that number of my inquiry request  looks like from California service SR1313*******CSC. Just wonder, if they sent my case from Nebraska to CSC( California) back???

How quickly did they respond to your inquiry? My first inquiry in August took one month to be answered. And the answer was more detailed as I explained above. The second one in November was answered the next day. And it seemed that it was generated by a computer rather than a person because it didn't have any specific information.

My requests were registered with VSC even though my case is in NBC. I think it makes sense.

In one day  they responded me by email that they are going to send me a mail with an explanation why my case took more processing time.  I got letter from USCIS  with a response in about 4 or 5 days, and it was just a superficial response.

Hi Everyone!

It's that time again... February is approaching and I had my stamp done in January last year.  I'm planning on making an another appointment to get another stamp (I have filed ROC and N400, both are still pending and no request for RFE or anything).

Question about drivers license (may make another post about this).  My license expires May 2019 and over the holiday weekend, my wallet was stolen.  I will need to get this done ASAP but I'm not sure how to go about that with an expired GC, an extension stamp that's pretty much almost expired, and pending citizenship with no interview in sight... Am I at a lost and will need to wait?

Hey ya'll,

I haven't posted here in awhile because not much has changed since my last post. We applied for the ROC Feb 2017 and N400 April 20th, 2018.

ROC: "Case Was Received At My Local Office" - Feb 26th, 2018

N400: "We reviewed your biometrics" - April 25th, 2018

Is it worth it to try a case inquiry based on receipt date for a case inquiry? California Service Center receipt date for case inquiry is March 3rd, 2017 which means that I could now submit an inquiry but is it really worth it? I mean, what are the odds that they are actually going to check my case? I haven't received an update since February and I'd like to get the ROC approved, if possible, before going for my N400 interview.

Thanks!

Thiago and Alexis

I got an email that my case was transferred to the Seattle office. I’m confused because I’ve done at least three biometric appointments.

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On December 21, 2018, we transferred your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number WAC171XXXXXXX, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by January 20, 2019, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators. If you have filed an I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. Please follow the instructions on your appointment notice if you need to reschedule. Occasionally, you may receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints taken when you have filed a form other than those listed above. In these situations, you may receive your appointment notice more than 30 days after submitting your application or petition.

  • Log-in to your myUSCIS account to view your case history and understand what you can expect to happen next on your case.
  • Current processing times can be found on the USCIS website at under Check Processing Times.

Sincerely,

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

We’re in the same boat and my case hasn’t been touched since April says their sporadic email updates.  I’ve tried to get a infopass appointment to no avail...
