Im glad to hear everything went well after all. Quick question... after receiving the RFE and sending them what they were asking for how long did it take to get the GC in the mail?

I wanted to share my timeline. And hopefully someone can shed some light on us...

 

We filed 2/27/17 to California

Case was transfered to Texas on June 6th 2018

Got an update on July 31st for RFE.

 

Got the RFE in the mail today, Aug 4th- they are asking for things I already sent! Is this normal? Should I just send everything again, just updated?

I am working on my RFE too. I am getting official statements and affidavits. Sending more 'official' proofs. I didn't send photos so I will send now.

Social proof.

Facebook (take screen shots or snips)  Those are time and date stamped.

Any other social media or photographs that can show time and date taken

HI all. My husband has a n400 and ROC pending still. When he first came to US for the first two years he didn't work. April 2016 to may 2018 he was continuously employed. In May he was laid off and hadn't found work since. I know I'm the US sponsor but will this harm his case or make him look bad?

Did the rfe state they needed photos or just additional evidence? I'm asking because we didn't send any photos at all because we hate having our pictures taken and are a very secluded couple we don't go many places besides work.

It didn't state specifically, but I thought I'd just send everything that can be proof of marriage. It seems many people on this forum sent photos. When did you get your RFE and when did you send it? I wonder how long we have to wait after sending. I'm going to send ours soon.

We didn't get a RFE our ROC is still pending. Haven't heard anything since office transfer in May.

Going to get this in the mail today. I checked USCIS website and all it says is that on July 17th there's an update for "We received your case". I don't suppose this is anything too exciting then.

I also am receiving this today... looks similar only mine is coming from Texas Service Center.
