I am not very comfortable with these passport stamps, i mean you can always meet a border agent who can mess things up.  So be careful

I thought it would be an easy process to travel with the I551 stamp. Especially traveling to Canada.

Are there other documents I need in order to travel?

I wanted to understand what are the benefits and cons  of filing n400 application while your I751 application is still under process

My case wasn’t transferred. No action since I submitted it. :(

No. We travel to Mexico 1 or 2 times a week on our temporary visas which is same as I-551   as long as you have legal entry.. they will not deny you.

After some argument with the local DMV, I finally got a change of address processed on my driver's license. However I think it's only good for one year and I'll probably have to come back again once (if) I get my 10-year GC.

Hello everybody,

Im Feb 17 filler, got my message about transferring to local office in April....since then nothing.

Got my passport stamp in 9th of May...during that appointment Lady said that loads of things has changed and waiting times are longer. I have plans to visit my family in Europe bit she kind of suggest to wait with traveling becase I should hear someting soon, but is already end of June and now word.

My worry is that I would leave and get an interview. I know that you can reschedule the interview but how long?only few weeks or months? And how many times i could do that? Would be grateful for any info or direction me to other place in this forum.

Thank you
