It is quite painless and you can upload even after submitting.   Travel dates are easy if you go out of the country frequently just go to the i94 and it will have your dates there. Good luck my friend,  this is the easier part of the journey and hopefully the quickest!

Hey Shell! Don't be nervous about your interview. Just study the book and you will be alright as long as you can answer the few questions they will ask you. I did my interview on Monday 6/11/18 and was approved. My oath ceremony is in 2 week and I will be done. We all stated these journey together in 2014 during the AOS process with Derwood and the rest.

Here is my N400 timeline and ROC:

Applied for ROC last year march.

10yrs green card approve on 2/28/18.

Received green card the following week which is like 2/9/18.

Applied for N400 4/9/18.

Scheduled for biometric on 4/14/18.

Did biometric 5/1/18.

Scheduled for interview notice 5/7/18

Did interview 6/11/18.

Oath ceremony scheduled for 6/25/18

Hello All,

I went to the info pass today to get another stamp in my passport since I only got 6 months one last time. Here comes a major headache.

1. I need to apply or Schengen visa to go to Spain for a 3 months study abroad. The website says that U.S PR should have at least a 3-month minimum visa valid after the return day. The program ends in December.

2. My stamp only valid till January 1. Despite all the things I explained, the officer cant gives me more time for the stamp. He said I would get approve soon (like what they said last time). I meant what should I do not? I am applying for the Schengen visa in a couple of weeks.

PLEASE HELP.

If all of us who still have cases outstanding are getting another extension letter, that would be great.

I went for my INFOPASS today, and the officer would not give me a passport stamp because my letter runs out 9/28/18. BUT I am not able to change the name on my driver's license because the BMV thinks my GC is expired.

On the bright side, my case is now in Texas. Anyone know how long that takes?

rowing the same boat..  My kids are adopted and have the name changed by court. But that does not have much weight.  Tried to change name on SS Card and they said no.. green card first.. Drivers lic for California was the same.  Even wiht a new birth certificate it was.. SS took precedence.   And nobody will do anything until ROC's are done.

Just apply for the Schengen as usual. If it comes up at the Schengen visa schedule explain to them. Schengen hardly issues visa beyond the time which it is required for. And Spain consulates are almost always flexible as you submit in person and have an opportunity to talk to a visa officer and they are very accommodating. And since you’re a PR it’s a very high chance they will issue your visa especially since your PR status will still be valid after the study abroad albeit only one month..

so my advice is, apply as usual and if it comes up during your appointment, explain it out.

Thank you so much for the answer. I hope I won’t have any problem with this. I already bought the tickets.

Side note: the officer told me that I could reschedule my combo interview and will be interviewed in 3,4 months after the rescheduling. I don’t know how much he knows but he said I will have my interview August September or October.
