@r72lrb and @tl89

My case was transferred to Nebraska on April 3, I got the snailmail letter about a couple of days later.

On March 28th I made the inquiry about a missing notice from the first mass transfer glitch and on the answer they say it might take up to 60 days to process our cases in NSC. Here is the message, cheers!

NSC is processing roughly in 4-6weeks as the pattern is.

For me I went in uscis office to get I-551 stamp, IO confirmed after looking at notes that it transferred to Nebraska. Then this saturday I tried automated line it said in Laguna Niguel office.

so yesterday I called Tier 2 IO said it has been transferred to Nebraska. I wanted to believe them, but will wait for letter to show up.

could you check automated line put I-751 file number, please let me know what it says if possible?

Thanks in advance!

So does it mean we will kinda get an answer in like 2 months roughly from the date we receive the Transfer Notice? I really hope it's true though cuz it has been a very very long time.

Yes I dialed this number ‭(800) 375-5283‬

I guess press 1 for English and then 2 for status updates then enter your file number for WAC it is 922 then rest of the file number

We can hope for it cuz i dont know how to check the processing time for NSC and have no idea how long it will take them to review our cases.

Where do you find out about the 4-6 weeks patterns for NSC?

I am going through all the Jan filers and feb filers who were transferred before us they got it in 6 weeks or around that time.

I have seen one feb filer too who already got the approval couple of weeks ago as her file for transfered in mid march

So i just check the status with the automated line. It did say Laguna Niguel office. Now i am really confused on where my case has been transferred. I called yesterday to talk with the customer service and they said my application is transferred to Nebraska, and even the letter said so. :(

Don’t worry about the automated line that proves what Tier 2 said to me yesterday. She said maybe that automated database is not updated. But written letter in mail is enough to confirm.

Good to know! Thanks so much... I feel a little bit better now that i can look for the 4-6 weeks window, even though it isn't official.

It's still better than what the customer service told me over the phone yesterday. He said "i can expect to receive the notice from October 2018 - Feb 2019" without taking the time to really look into it.

Fingers crossed until this cumbersome process is over

Exactly.

And do you realize that 2 different receipt numbers give 2 different status? like one number didn't say anything about the transfer, it just tell you the date that u filed your i751. And another one did mention about the transfer.

Or is it just me?

We went to the USCIS office and was able to get an I-551 stamp.  They originally tried to turn us away because they were at capacity but luckily they let us stay. It took forever but at least it's done.

I wonder what the next obstacle will be to get this 10-year GC as it seems like there is always something going wrong...

I am glad you got it in the end. You will get the new GC pretty quickly if you turn in the wrong one. Dealing with USCIS is not fun.
