Extra forms that seem unnecessary to send with the I-129F

Is the Form DS-230 and Form DS-160 required to send in with the I-129F for the K1 visa?  And what are their purposes?  I have no idea what the DS-230 is for, except maybe it has to do with requesting to bring other family members with you into the country you are moving to (after getting married)?  And the Form DS-160 is really confusing me, because what is the purpose of it?  I thought the USCIS only wanted papers of all this stuff, not an additional ONLINE form too?  Makes no sense.  Am I, the petitioner, not suppose to fill this out? Thanks.

You’re all over the place with information there. Have a look at this chart. Familiarize yourself with the process. There’s nowhere that says a K1 needs a DS-230.
