i have a quick question regarding the address on all the forms to file for AOS.

we want to move but didnt find the perfect place for us yet. as i am getting the papers ready to file for AOS i was wondering which address i shall use? i dont want the current address since we wont be there by the time USCIS finally decides to do anything with our application (going by the timeline of other VJer) therefore i was interested in which address to use? can we use his family address since they wont move any time soon? and if does it mean we have to live at that address or is it ok just to use it to file and have proof that we both live in our own apt? or does USCIS accept PO BOX to put as mailing address on our forms? any input is appreciated

I did the address change form online ( Form AR-11) this weekend. It was easy and as far as I know it is required for all non-US citizens if there is a change in your physical address. Just my 2 cents worth!

I think the changing addresses drama happens when you file by mail or call the mis-information line to update. I think the online change of address is pretty good from what I have seen. The sponsor will however have to file an I-865 change of address form by mail though.

We're moving in 3 weeks and I'll have to do a change of address as well.

The I-485 has a line saying Address C/O, you can put an address of a relative there for the paperwork to be sent to.

Just wanted to update my online filing of AR-11. I did the paperwork and on May 2nd they mailed me a notice for both EAD & AOS saying that they had updated my address on both sets of paperwork. It came to my new address here no problems. I would recommend updating your address that way from my experience.
