Waiting for NOA2 and continuing with the process overseas?

Hello everyone, I have some questions today.

We, just as every other long distanced couples are missing each other, we definitively know this is a quite long wait but we are trying to see if my fiancee (petitioner) could come, stay with me until NOA2 and proceed with the rest of the process in my country. I've read you don't need the NOA2 hand copy for the interview. And if we got an RFE she have her sister that can help up with getting everything and mail back the RFE response. Is this even possible? do RFE's require signature or strictly require the petitioner to do it?

Our NOA1 is Dec 20th, 2017, so roughly 3-4months for the interview?

Additionally, since we are in a limited budget and can only afford one trip for now, we also have the option of her coming for a short trip and returning back almost close to estimate dates.  And then I would go to the interview alone. Does anyone has faced difficulty or issues by going alone to the interview?

Thank you.

I don't think you have to have the petitioner with you during /for the interview. I have not seen this requirement anywhere. The beneficiary is the one who has to be at the interview, bringing the SO is an option, because some couples think that way they can assure the Consular officer the relationship is real, but it has little to do with it if there is a problem with paperwork. If there is no problem with paperwork, then no need to worry at all especially if you guys are on a tight budget. Good luck.

Petitioner does NOT have to remain in the USA during the process.  They absolutely can go on holiday if they so choose

YMMV

Any tax document can be obtained electronically, as long as your employer does them like that and you e-file your tax return. otherwise you would need a copy of your snail mail delivered tax returns

Obviously you need someone to monitor your mail but you do not need to be inside the USA to respond to an RFE.  Depending on what the RFE , is I would guess that a high majority can be accomplished by someone acting as your proxy

YMMV

Sounds good. We're planning a trip at least a month earlier than the expected date. I just hope, if we do, we don't get a RFE requiring the filler's signature. Thank both of you.
