I’m not trying to pry but why was he denied the first K-1, why was a waiver required. Also, for you to have 4 visits, hundreds of pages of chat logs, pictures, call logs...... I’m not sure what they want. Affidavits from family Indont see the use in that. Proof is usually airline tickets, passport stamps, dates photos, hotel receipts (when available)...... I just think it’s marjor issues and an underlying reason for this. Why is it you can visit and not marry there, a 4 year engagement is really long. I don’t understand why you would add him to your lease and he is not even in the country..... you added him as the beneficiary to your retirement, he is not your spouse yet? There’s some major issues if they’d till asking for more. My fiancé is from a West African country and we had two visits and we were approved last week, granted I have now been here since January which was really important, once he presented proof that I been here since January, Rental receipts, passport stamps, and told her I was outside waiting, she didn’t even ask for any additional pictures or chat or call logs. She asked him basic questions about me and my kids, how we met, his job, my job, and if he applied for any visas before which he did, a visitor visa to come see me but what denied. To have been there for two interviews, and this 3rd one this month (does that mean he has had 3 interviews) and submitted all that evidence and still be asked for more, it seems there is a major major issue and it doesn’t look very good to me. IMO......

Besides Flight Info, Passport Stamps, pictures, chat logs, call logs, leasing information, what more do they expect........ I’m lost but it seems something is missing here 😔

I don't really owe you any answers to the million questions you just asked- especially since you added nothing to this conversation except your own subjective opinion, which is highly incorrect seeing as you know nothing about me, my fiance, my relationship, or our journey.

Have a good day!

Wow. I was trying to be helpful not rude. I asked why is it that you can visit here for 3 weeks at a time and not marry. I also said as others have said presenting hundreds of pages of chat logs really is an overkill with conversations and it’s secondary. I suggested passport stamps, boarding passes, dated photos, flight itinerary, and such.

I was asking because you said you said you have been on site for 2 out of 3 K-1 interviews. Which is usually very helpful in high fraud countries.

I was asking the questions to better understand your situation and to help you brainstorm other things they may have been looking for or what to do to help to provide the additional information requested.

My fiance also interviewed in a West African Country, we did K-1, I was on-site and he was approved at his first interview. I am also a Paralegal and have worked for Government Agencies for many years.

It wasn’t meant to be rude and my first sentence said not to pry. My intentions were good.

But hey, you have been on this K-1 journey for 4 years, obviously there is something of very deep concern by the Embassy, thus the years wait, multiple interviews, waivers, statements by the Consular, and additional requests. I was only trying to help.

The better you understand a situation the more fruitful the advice could be, maybe I should have private messaged you.

But again my intentions were good.
