Any of you -- actually, I think that may be limited to Angel7424 -- get your NOA1 yet? Our check was cashed on 4/23, and I was sure the NOA1 would follow hard on its heels, as apparently it had in the past with other I-751 petitioners in the TSC.

But a week plus has gone by and no NOA1. Did I throw it out with some junk mail? Did they run a check with the airlines and find out we are traveling to Colombia in July, and decide to make us sweat by holding back until the last moment? Will Sanjaya get a record deal? Will the Marlins start playing better than .500 ball?

Meh

Hi James,

To answer your question:

No, I haven't rec'd my NOA1 yet. I was that if you had that meant my NOA1 was coming soon but alas nope it hasnt reared it head yet, maybe it will show up soon. Let me know when/if you get yours.

James, I got mine last week and the biometrics appointment letter as well. I submitted my request on the 7th of April.

Thanks, Joel! That means receipt of the NOA1 is running a little over two weeks from the time TSC receives the petition. (And Angel, that would mean we'll probably get ours by sometime next week.)

Don't sweat it! It can't be that hot in 'Bama yet, it's only early May. I don't know where you are there, but if your in the district for the Birmingham office, that's where you'll do biometrics.

Hi all,

I received my receipt notice for biometrics today. Is this the NOA1? The receipt was the same as the one on the back of the check but it still didnt work, I had to call USCIS and after the customer rep couldnt get it to work either she transferred me to an officer who after verifying information with my husband checked the records and gave me a new receipt # that worked. YAYYYYY!!! I signed us up to receive email notifications about any updates to our case.

Anyway where is the letter extending my husband's greencard for 1-yr? Will I receive another receipt for the application fee? Will the biometrics appt and 1-yr extension letter come together? What is the next letter I will receive?

By the way James have you received your receipt yet?

We received the NOA1 today, whoopee!! And we received the biometrics receipt yesterday like you. No, it's not the NOA1, and the number that looks identical to a TSC case number is not the case number, as you found out. Anyway, I bet you received your NOA1 today, too, since we both got the biometrics receipt on the same day.

Well, your I-751 did arrive a day after mine, so I'm pretty sure you'll get the NOA1 Monday or at the latest Tuesday. It seems to be just a ministerial thing anyway in response to receiving the petition, not a judgment on whether you're entitled to have conditions removed, so the last thing I would do is worry about exactly when you're going to get it.

I sent the I-751 to the TSC on April 13, 2007 and the check was cashed on April 23, 2007. On the back of the cancelled check I can see a case number of SRC0718200055. We have not received any NOA yet and when I try to put that case number in the USCIS online lookup, it comes back as not found. I am getting a little worried about it and thinking I may make an Infopass appointment in San Antonio to see what's going on.

Unidos en los E.U. y estamos muy felices.
