Stormy Daniels offers to return payment to end deal for her silence

Multiple women are exploring potential legal cases against President Donald Trump, following the lead of an adult film actress who has filed a lawsuit in order to speak out about an affair she says she had with Trump in 2006, her attorney said Wednesday.

Michael Avenatti, who represents Stephanie Clifford — better known by her professional name Stormy Daniels — told BuzzFeed News that other women have reached out to him for representation in cases against Trump. Avenatti did not answer questions about the number of women, or the nature of their allegations.

Something I don't get about the Stormy Daniels situation -

 

What made her special? Why did a lawyer go to lengths to cover up the affair?

 

It's not like Trump had a sterling reputation and it would be shocking to learn he had an affair. He has had affairs all his life. No one should have been under any illusions that he was a faithful husband.

 

I'm not really sure what they were worried about. Clearly people who like him don't care that he doesn't respect the sanctity of marriage. Another affair added to the list wouldn't have changed anything.

Maybe he made some sort of promise to Melania or something.  Who knows, but I agree, why the attempt to hide something that happened years ago and was mutual apparently.  Like I said earlier, if he starts getting Lewinskied in the Oval Office, then he should resign.
