NVC Tracking not working.

I got approved today and just wanted to check the status in NVC but it’s not working. Is that normal after the interview?

Filed/Sent  i-129F: 06.26.17

NOA1: 06.30.17

RFE Received: 01.16.18

RFE Sent: 01.23.18

RFE Response Received: 01.24.18

NOA2: 01.31.18

NVC File Received: 02.08.18

NVC Case Number Assigned: 02.09.18

NVC Status "at NVC": 02.09.18

NVC Status "in Transit": 02.15.18

NVC Status "Ready": 02.16.18

Medical: 02.20.18 - Got the packet! :)

NBI Clearance: 02.27.18

CFO: 02.26.18

Interview: 03.12.18 --- Passed!

VOH: 03.16.18

POE: 04.02.18

It’s gonna be a few weeks or a couple of months before you get a case number from NVC to track it. You can’t use USCIS number on NVC. Totally different institutions.

Did the interviewing officer tell you it was approved?  Is there a current status on the site?

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Yes they said it’s approved and gave me the IMBRA pamphlet. The CEAC website when I try to track the NVC number isn’t giving me anything.

Might be site maintenance. Also, sometimes it takes a few hours to get a new status update....congratulations!!!

Note:  Don't buy trip tickets until you actually have the visa in hand.......

They did did keep my passport and didn’t ask me for additional documents. So, is AP normal?

Yes.  All cases go through AP.  However, no one can predict how long.......Hopefully, it will change to "Issued" soon.

Yeah. Everyone goes through AP. Check back in a couple of days for a new update.
