Field investigation after returned to USCIS?

Hi Everyone,

 

So my husband had a conversation with a shop keeper today near his home.  He told my husband that recently two men came in his shop and were asking lots of questions about my husbands house about my husband, about his marriage to me and they kept prying about my husbands past divorce.  I find it very strange since our case was returned to USCIS and they just received it February 23rd.  

 

Do you think its possible they would send a field investigation at this stage?  Has anyone seen this before?  

 

Thanks goodness for us the entire village knows all about our situation I just wish they would have done this type of check before they refused his visa.

Looks like a consoler office investigation. Consoler send his assistant investigators who are locals to further investigate your claims. This is neither good or bad.

I had the same issue I attended my on 26july 2018 I was given 221g letter to send tax stuffs documents n not to to include my passport when sending which I did on the 26 of September.later on the 3december I was home n two gentlemen came to my door n start asking me questions about me n my wife entered my room n bedroom after they left not knowing they have ask about me in the neighbourhood before directed to my house.i want to ask how many months it took u to hear from the embassy
