I forgot to give special thank to Kim, who inspired me to seek congressional help which may have speed up this approval process. I wish Kim an speedy approval if he still waiting for it.

Congratulations! Please contact me, if you need help with NVC process. You can go to NVC forum and start readign NVC shortcuts known as "James' Shortcut." For now, have your wife open a free mail account (yahoo, hotmail, etc), start preparing DS 230 part I and II from DOS website, you should start preparing I-864 and get the relevant documents ready.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Rashid, Yes our time lines are very close except for years. Looks like, you are doing well with NVC too. Start preparing the I-864, gathering its relevant documents. Also start preparing the DS 230 packet (DS 230 part I and II from dept of state website and copy of the visa applicant's passport biographic information pages). Please let me know, if you have any specific questions.
