So today my case status on the CEAC website changed from ‘At NVC’ to in transit. My embassy is London. I have my medical booked for 4/4/18. The instructions for the medical say that I need to bring the letter/email from the embassy to confirm case number and visa type.

Is there enough time for the case to arrive at the embassy and for me to receive the letter from them? I’m panicking that I won’t receive it in time and won’t be able to complete the medical without it

They send it electronically. It will probably get there in a couple of days.

People in London have been reporting a huge delay for medical to get to the embassy. I would check the London portal on this website and see how long it’s taking medical to get there and schedule your interview accordingly. Otherwise you’re gonna be stuck in a lengthy AP.

Mine came after about 2 weeks.

My fiancé (usc) received an email after a about a week.

some people have just used a screenshot of their status on the ceac website and it has been fine.

I had my medical on a Friday, and it was sent to the embassy the following Thursday, but the embassy didn’t put it onto their system until the following Monday.

Good luck. @DanimalBVB
