Hi there!

The status of my visa finnaly moved from "IN TRANSIT" to "READY", therefore I planed an interview date. It mentionned that the next interview date in on March 21st, then I paid the fees but had to do a transfer of money. So I'll valdiate the date of the interview when the embassy will receive the money.

However, I didn't expect to have an interview that quickly, which is great on one hand, but by that time I won't have gathered all the required documents, I'm waiting for my German police record and I need to get it translated then.

I know that I will be able to reschedule the appointment but does anyone have already done that?

Will I be able to pick up a new date right away? Will the next available date be a long time after?

I know that it all depends on the embassy, I just expect some feedback :) Thanks

You go on the AIS website where you scheduled your interview in the first place and click on reschedule interview. It will take you to the next page and it will tell you which dates and times are available next and you can choose whatever suits you. I think there’s a rule though that you can only reschedule twice before you have to pay fees again. I’m not sure about that so don’t quote me.
