On the USCIS website it states that Vermont is currently processing Jan 27, 2007 applications. So currently you're not out of regular processing times. Once you are then you can schedule an INFOPASS appt to find out what is happening and possible obtain a stamp for work authorization.

Yes.

But, I see people who filed before me already approved. Their case was not transferred to Vermont, instead they are still in Chicago. If you check the processing time for Chicago, you will see that it is Jan 27, 2007 again. So, jan 27th just a number which matches the 90 day period. As you see the post, the average day is about 76.

Your 90 days will count on May 27 as it is 90 days from the NOA1 period. I am sure there are folks who have been approved from your batch.

Wait until May 27 and schedule an Infopass appointment if your case appears untouched. Also, don’t rely on average “wait times” –trust me on that one!

Good luck and I am sure that you will get your EAD soon! Have you filed for AOS yet?

I-485 , I-765, I-130: NOA1 : 1/23/2006

Biometrics 2/23/2006

Temporary EAD given for 1 month ONLY b/c of Infopass appt: 5/1/2006

Went back to renew EAD through Infopass: EAD card was not given "due to reasons we can't disclose"

5/3/2007: Confirmation that EAD is delayed due to background checks. (started to use the senator, ombudsman and was just a royal pain in the neck)

5/30/2007: EAD production ordered (after over 400 days of waiting!!! woo hoo!)

AOS Interview: 5/12/2008!!! FINALLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7/29/2008: card production ordered...918 days..can't wait to see that card!
