Hi!
I'm a little confused, I've been looking for info on the UK US embassy site for required forms for the medical/interview in London, and I know it asks for a list of vaccinations but I can't see anything about your medical records?

Do we need to bring our entire medical records or ask for a summary or something?

thanks!

Hi,

Knightsbridge send you an email after booking medical which states all documents you need to bring.

Re medical records, the email says:

'Summary of your medical history from your GP (NOT full medical records) & reports covering any medical conditions, disabilities, and prior serious illnesses you have been treated for or anything ongoing. This has been a requirement since March 2017 and may not be on the US Embassy London website.'

It finishes by saying 'ask your GP for a Patient summary/Care summary.'

Hope this helps a little:)

waiting patiently to be with my love..

A summary the NHS can print out. It is not your actual records.  And if you have any surgeries, illnesses, conditions or former conditions you will divulge, then they will most like ask for a short report from your doctor with details of when, what, meds, cured, ongoing, etc.

Here's the website with a list http://www.visamedicals.info/us-bring.asp

The questionnaire is on this page under documents...last bit https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/medical-examination/

What is the appointment letter? Is it one that you get for your visa interview? I haven't got an interview booked yet, I thought you had to wait until the medical was done.

That is sorta generic because immigrant visas like spouse visas get their appointment assigned by NVC. They get an appointment letter. For a K1, Knightsbridge want to confirm your LND number from the instruction letter the beneficiary receives from London. They send it after your case arrives there and is logged in.

Alternates people have used that show the number

  • letter from NVC to the petitioner stating case has gone to embassy
  • print out of CEAC status showing LND number
