NVC is making me redo the 6 steps?

We already completed the 6 steps.. choose agent pay fees financial documents etc. After that we received  a letter to send the correct police clearance and birth certificate and 2015 proof of income which we sent to them last month. Last week when we checked the case status at says they received the documents today when we checked the case status this is what it says

 

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask. 

 

I'm confused because we did not receive any new emails from NVC and the only 6 steps I know we have already completed? I thought we were only waiting for an interview date now? I was expecting a "case complete"

That is generic what you see when your case is getting processed in NVC. One the case is complete, it would change to ready. So no need to worry.

We just received an interview date! oh my gosh!
