Hello!

Just wondering if someone can put my mind at rest. I am currently filling out forms for adjusting status here in the USA.

In part 2 of the form i-485 - Application to Register Permanent Residency... it asks for you to attach a copy of the form i-797 receipt or approval notice for the underlying petition or application. This would be the petition i-129F for fiance visa - K1 . We received our receipt with the case number on , but have misplaced the NOA2 - which is the approval notice.

I have read that others were fine in this situation if they sent in other documents instead to support their approval.

Would sending in the receipt of the NOA1, my letter from the embassy in London saying they had received my approved petition, a copy of the approved petition they sent me with the letter, and a copy of the visa stamp in my passport be sufficient enough?

I don't see why they would request this in the first place, surely the visa stamp with the K1 on it would be more than enough!
