NVC seems got a little backlog, so just give them another week or two.

Btw, you should gather your financial documents(Tax transcript, pay stub, employment letter ...etc) as well as civil documents of your parents.

Hope you will not get a checklist and reunited with your parents soon.

Thank you.

I have them all now ready to submit :). I hope there won’t be any issue. There is a question on ds 260 I’m alittle confused (I read the sample form online). “Is your spouse immigranting to the Us with you?”

As I sponsor both of my parents at the same time but different application. I don’t know which answer will be the right one. Thank in advance if you can help.

NVC typically issues the number shortly after receiving your case (in some cases, they can tell you the case number right when they receive the package from USCIS). Since it’s been like 4 weeks for you, I think it may be a good idea for you to call them. The website above gives you a best time to call from what I remember. You should also check out the spreadsheet link on the website and put your information in. From the spreadsheet, you will be able to know how long others are waiting as well.

Please be aware that there is a validity date on your NOA2. I think it may be best to be more proactive now to ensure your approval does not expire. I’ve been running around a lot to make sure all my T’s are crossed and my I’s are dotted. The stress won’t be able to compare to the joy of being finally together with my fiancee so I don’t mind going through a little more trouble/stress now.

God bless you on your journey...

For IR/CR visa, the validity date  means nothing.

Thank you for the response. But

1st my case are for my parents IR5, the case number for immigrant visa is taking longer to create than K1( i think that what you are talking about)

2nd I’m calling everyday, but they have backlogged, so I got no glue which date they are working on. That’s why I created this topic to ask people.
