Two weeks before sending in my petition the average time from noa1 to noa2 was 3 to 4 months, the minute I got my NOA1 the serious backlog happened and pushed it to average of 6 months. 180-220 days is now the expected future processing times. Which is current processing times still. This is also due to the new guidelines handed down to USCIS.

They asked for Rose's annulment court paperwork.  I originally sent her Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR).  There is very limited divorce in the Philippines and most non-Muslims have to get annulments.  Rose was annulled and we presented the government's proof of no marriage.  I sent all court paperwork with my response.

They also asked for proof we met in the last two years.  I visited her 5 times in 2017.  I resent what was in the original petition and pictures and passport stamps from the two visits after we filed the petition.

Why what exactly did you send for proof the first time, if you don't mind me asking. And when I ask "exactly", I mean "exactly" what did you send? (If you don't mind) ☺️

The original submission was Rose’s certified CENOMAR.

For proof of I had receipts, boarding passes, photos with family and Rose, and passport scans of every page with tourism stamps.

So guys do you think it is only the waiting time for petitions from June-December is longer or the K1 process in general became a long wait?

K1 right now is long because of the backlog.

If they can't clear up the backlog there will be still a long wait time. But they had their peak on June and july filers so from now on it suppose to go less. However things won't suddenly change just because it is December or January filers (as December already waited 3.5 months and January 2.5; and we are still doing September...)

I wonder why that wasn't sufficient for them. That's pretty much everything that I have sent as well. I did have hotel receipts from the two places we stayed. The one that was only in Turkish I had it translated. Other than that I think we have the same documents so I'm wondering what their problem was

no Noa2 or rfe yet...... over 9 months and waiting

Ohhhhh... mannnnnnn.... I'm sorry for this.

After 6 months you can call and ask what is going on, correct?

It seems like a couple of other people on here that were waiting that long ended up getting an RFE around 8 or 9 months... :/

Again, so sorry for this wait. It's awful.

yeah ive had two official inquiries into why im so long beyond normal processing times.

The specific question "why is my case beyond normal processing times?"

uscis response "we are adjudicating your case, ask again in 45 days if no decision"

I just want communication... thats all i ask. but thats to much to ask apparently.

I feel awful for you. If it goes on too long, will they deny it? .... (looks around for anyone who knows more than I do to answer my question)

Have you been visiting? We got NOA1 03/06/18 and I'm HOPING to get NOA2 by mid-September..... so I don't have to visit again (I will be in Turkey for all of July) but now I'm thinking I will be visiting him again in October. If we could be waiting until early 2019..... July isn't going to cut it! :)

Best to you
