Everything else has gone so quickly and easily for us, I guess I'm just spoiled!

Check out my timeline - does it really take this long to get the green card? If so, then fine, but if this is just totally abnormal I need to know how to push the issue to get this fixed.

It was 5 1/2 months for my daughter's AOS to be approved from the date we applied to her interview.

Your case got transferred to California. Maybe you will get approved without an interview.

Unfortunately there is no magic number where you can say how long it will take until you get approved. Just keep in mind that there are others waiting much longer. For me it took 2 months after the transfer to CSC to get approved. Good luck!!!

Took mine a total of 8 months and that shorter (relative to my D.O.) timeline is only because after waiting for 6 months, they transferred my case to CSC.

There's really nothing you can do but be patient. I filed in November '06, and haven't received any notice yet, not even a touch. It sucks to read about other November filers being approved, but then everyone's case is different. I'm stuck in the namecheck hole unfortunately. :(

You're still within relatively normal processing times. Interestingly, my K-3 took a long time, but my AOS was pretty quick.

You just never know with these people... :unsure:
