I choose Monday 12th for Issued. Is this a contest?

Jump in everybody. We need to entertain this bloke who is losing his mind.

My money's on Monday too.  Anyone give me 4 to 1 for a $5 stake?!

By the way, every time I get through a new step in the process I get a very brief sense of excitement followed by a massive anti-climax knowing I have to do some more waiting. Like woohoo approved!... Now shut up and wait for it to be issued... Wohoo issued... Now shut up and wait for the courier. Anyone else?

yeah, me and my fiancé are the same. We were like yippeee its USCIS approved, then it was when it actually going to get to nvc, then NVC got it and it was the wrong Embassy lol, so we requested the transfer , then the transfer came and we were like YIPEEEEE, its ready at London, then we had the medical and were like finally one step closer, then the interview was approved pending them medical results getting there and we were like FINALLY! now were here lol Waiting lol! Its a constant battle against time. So I understand the high and lows you feel.

I will say that we wore ourselves out early with the petition/visa, overly analyzing every step, checking status, comparing timelines. We got over it. When we filed for AOS, EAD, removing conditions, and citizenship, we quit checking status, didn't join any of those monthly timeline groups, and generally knew it would all happen eventually. It's way better not obsessing over something you have little control over except to put together the very best application possible. Use your wait time to learn all about the next step. Raise your hand if you have already started filling out the AOS/EAD/AP forms and made a list of the documents, passport photos, etc  required.  Have you read the AOS forums to know where people mess up and get RFEs so you won't make the same omission? Have you figured out the P85 form for leaving the UK? Do you know what documents you need to take to the US? Do you know how much you have earned in the UK in 2018 because you will have to report that amount a year from now on your 2018 US tax return? Do you know the best way to transfer money to the US? Work ahead instead of spending every day fretting over the wait and trying to figure out what every date change on your status might mean. Eventually there is an end, the day you become a US citizen. Until then don't make yourself so crazy. 😜

I want to ask you so many questions about this post, but I won’t bother you :D lol

P85 is a form to file with UK when you are done working, leaving the country, and getting off the tax rolls. They figure out if you have overpaid tax (taken out of paychecks) and cut you a check for a refund. I got some refund from the year I left and some from the previous year.

Some links for starters.

When you had your interview did they ask you when you planned on getting married or when you planned on leaving? Also did they say you'd get your passport back in 2-3 weeks?

Here’s hoping :-)

Mine said “ready” last Thursday. Friday it changed back to “administrative processing”, and this morning it changed to issued.
