When did you send your movement certificate?

Maybe someone else can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you have anything to worry about just yet. It took the Embassy over 2 months to issue my husband's visa after everything was completed. Patience at this place in the game is very hard, I know, but I'm sure it will be forthcoming soon.

If the movement certificate was sent only 15 days ago, that's probably the reason for the wait.

I can't remember how long it took after Moody's hubby sent his in, but it seems like it wasn't too long after that that the visa was isssued.

Anyone remember how long it took?

I'd say just a little more patience is in order.

Good luck.

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

Seems to me if you just sent in required info, then your time is still running. Obivously they are working your case because they asked for the movement papers. I wouldn't worry yet. Have your wife call DOS here and inquire. I know you are stressed right now, but take a deep breath and try to relax. I think your case is fine at this point.

Seka, your wife can contact the Department of State by calling this number:

US Department of State: 202-663-1225

To speak to a visa specialist, press 1,1,4,1,0.

Good luck to you both, don't give up...you've come too far together in this process to give up now. Like I said in the other forum, I pray for you to have peace in your heart, patience and the strength to finish this process through until you and your wife are reunited.
