Filipina wife traveling overseas

My Filipina wife and I will be traveling overseas probably within the next couple months, back to the Philippines. She has her AP and should get the green card soon. (we had the interview)

I know we should get the tickets in her married name and then bring the marriage license, since we haven't done the ROM yet. My question is can we report the marriage in the Philippines? I feel like it could be easier doing it there instead of waiting 6 months and filing from the states.

Yes, it would be easier to do the ROM in the Philippines. Unfortunately they will not allow you to do that at all which sucks. You need to do the ROM for the Consulate that corresponds to where you got married at.

Just make sure that when you go back to Pinas that she brings a copy of your marriage license with you just in case.

Sounds good, thanks! I definitely will bring the marriage license.
