Hello Everyone,

Quick question for anyone who is filing in Michigan. It seems like Michigan only has Judgment of Divorce and not an actual Divorce Decree. When I went to court they told me that its the same thing.

Has anyone sent their Judgement of Divorce and got an RFE for it? Or has anyone sent it and it was accepted?

Thanks!

If you get an RFE what will else will you send?  You cannot give them what they don't provide...  If that document serves as the termination of the marriage then you are worried about nothing

YMMV

Yea you are right. I just dont know if they want like a written statement that thats all I have. I have seen that people have been getting RFEs for that sort of thing, so I was wondering how they went about those.

I guess we`ll see.

You are not the first petitioner from Michigan.  They know that every state governs family law and each state is just a little different

YMMV
