Are you really surprised, consolemaster, that a service staffed by high school boys with a decent command of computer knowledge isn't at the cutting edge of engineering technology?

I'm sort of imagining you thinking you were part of an elite haxx0r force and slowly realizing that all you were was a glorified help desk.

No. Before, I had that attitude of an elite force. But thinking over now after getting dual degree in engineering, I feel stupid for working with them. LOL. I didn't really thought much then, but, the pay was nice when I worked there during college.

It's amazing at how many customers come in willing to pay hundred of dollars to have their computer fixed. If they even have a little knowledge, they can do it themselves.

How do illegal aliens have "constitutional rights?"

I was wondering the same thing. This makes me so mad because all of us have had to go through so much to do it legally and then they're just letting people do it when they're legal. Same with the whole illegal immigrants rights and the rally. #######? They should have arrested every single one of them!

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

How? Because the Supreme Court has ruled that they do.

She's mad that someone else can achieve the same result without following "due process."

Because apparently illegals are given red carpet treatment, while those poor Western Europeans

are struggling to do things "the legal way".

Well not all who disagree with illegal immi feel that way based on that.

But then again, how I feel is laid out pretty clearly in that other thread.

I'll chime in with the following.... Those that are here illegally, and demand citizenship, can go to He!!.

Those that have legitimate reasons to immigrate (marriage for example), despite their previous infractions, are

What more needs to be said here?

It seems lots of us agree with you William. But you won't get the support of the hatemonger homesick_american who believe that anyone who came to this country illegally (under ANY circumstances - no excuses if the child was 2 years old) or if you overstayed a visa and accrued illegal presence (for ANY reason - doesn't matter if you got hit by a car and were in a coma for 6 months and couldn't leave) then s/he should "never be let back into the country" and "never marry in the US". She's quite lucky she didn't fall in love with someone who overstayed a visa - apparently she would tell the man to fk off and go home rather than marry him . . .

I'm done now - I have nothing more to say on this topic because I cannot stomach the hatred and hostility.

Relax Kit,

The aforementioned says it all.

I am frankly surprised at "homesick_American’s" posture here. She is usually balanced in her perspective.

I hope she will return to clarify her position, in the usual balanced way, with full analysis of the points made.

homesick_American, care to clarify your position?

I thought that second one was supposed to be illegal, but after a 10 hour day fighting with yellow page sales reps, I couldn't pontificate over it too much.

A lot of the K1s and K3s can't figure out what the legal way is, though. Anything other than their way is OMG ILLEGALLZZZZ!

Just worry about yourself and stop worrying about how everyone else does things, good Lord. If you don't, you just make yourself angry and miserable. Now, some people like to be that way, but I sure as hell don't. (Not directed at you, mawilson, but some of the others.) If your situation calls for a K1 or K3, so be it. Mine didn't, a lot of my friends' didn't - and if that was illegal, we/they wouldn't have their permanent residency.

The judge's decision confirmed the man's right to marry. It had nothing to do with his right to immigrate. I think we're missing the point here - this guy had the right to get his marriage license and marry whoever he wanted. Whether he should be able to immigrate or not is another issue.

Like I said, put "illegals" in the headline and everyone stops thinking. It works almost as well for generating mindless hysteria as putting "Muslim" in a headline.

If this had been a story about an all-American boy not wanting to put down his social security number to get a marriage license because he was sick of having to use that as an ID number for non-tax purposes and the judge had said "the right to marry is universal" everyone would be applauding at the good ol' boy fighting the system. Even though the results would be exactly the same.
