Hi I'm new to this website and I'm so happy i found it we send my  i601a in April they received it on April 13,2018. i did the fingerprints on May 22,2018. I HATE THE WAITING IS KILLING ME.

I know what you mean!! We’ve been waiting since February 2018. I keep checking the website and my apps daily. Sometimes even 2 or 3 times a day thinking/hoping it will change to approved. This waiting is not good on my nerves. Lol 😂😬. I feel like they are slower then ever nowadays. Ugh 😑

Wow!  Congratulations!!  We submitted the end of January had our Biometric in March.  Crossing our fingers.  The attorney also said it might take twice as long but that's just speculations.

Congrats on your approval!

The next steps involve the NVC.  Since you filed the I-601a, you have already paid for the IV application and I-864 aff of support online I take it.  If the NVC has received all your paperwork from the checklist they sent you via email, then all you have to do is wait for the NVC to process everything.  If anything is missing, they'll email you and let you know what else is needed before they schedule the interview appointment.

It will roughly go like this:

1)The NVC will notify you via email they have completed your case and will schedule your interview.  This can take up to 1-2 months.  The NVC schedules appointments in Juarez as they become available.

2)You will then receive another email from the NVC notifying you of the interview date and time.  They will schedule your interview about a month or so from the time of this email to give you time to prepare and make travel plans.

3)Once you have the interview date scheduled, you can then begin to make the two appointments needed before the interview.  ASC for photos and fingerprints, and the medical appointment.  The ASC office is a city block from the US Consulate and there are two different medical buildings just south of the Consulate as well.

Take it one step at a time.  Feel free to ask any questions, we are here to help!
