Update. Hubby’s 601a was approved and our lawyer forwarded an electronic copy. Approval date was in April. We still have not received our original copy in the mail. A month ago lawyer submitted request to resend but still nothing. I just submitted a 2nd request. Had to wait 30 days to resend. This is a problem because here in FL you can get a temporary Driver’s License with an approved 601a.

Congratulations!! What was the receipt date and biometrics?

Hi guys! I just completed 9 months of the waiting game. I know some people have waited longer but seeing approvals from a month after of my receipt date just made me 1000x more anxious. 😒

It's coming! Have faith. You seem very genuine  and kind with our cases, I have faith in yours! Good luck. Keep us posted.

Oh no! What are they asking for?

Everything?! More evidence for every single argument my lawyer used. I’m seeing my lawyer on Wednesday. I’m now thinking that she probably didn’t do a good job at putting everything together. I’m so upset that I don’t even know what to think.

My I 601a was sent on August 10th 2018, I received the receipt notice on August 15th 2018 and had my biometrics appointment the 20th of September. To all of this my case was at the Potomac service center. I finally got my case approved on April 27th and received my approval in the mail on July 1st. Now I have to wait until uscis sends everything to nvc and I can finally start the consular processing process. Does anyone know the timeline of that as of now?

From what I am seeing online, they are asking for RFE to buy extra time.  Most people I heard were approved shortly after sending the RFE package.

I hope so. I am seeing my lawyer today... I can’t stop crying this is all so emotionally draining but we gotta keep hoping for the best. Were you able to get a date for your interview yet?
