Hi everyone! I am just checking in to see if  anyone obtained police certificate needed for the interview while being still in the US? I am able to obtain it from the embassy here in The USA, but they asked me what language I prefer it to be issued in, and I am not sure if it should be in English or my country’s national language? Any advice from people who have obtained police certificate already??

This checklist by NVC says it needs to be translated into English. Hope it helps!

I called the NVC to asked if I could give them the police certificate at the time of the interview and they said to send them a letter saying I would bring it then so I did and they accepted the letter.

Omg congratulations!
We have a similar timeline: Received date 10/25/2018 and Biometrics 12/04/2018.
I'm glad Nebraska is moving along. This definitely gives me hope! Congrats again!

So you didn’t obtain the police certificate YET? From what I understand you will get it when you go back abroad ?  Correct me if I am wrong
