Congratulations! Next step: fill out DS260 online and send I864 with your documents to NVC. Or if you already did this step, you have to wait USCIS informed NVC from your approval waiver and NVC will schedule your interview.

If you need help just message me.

Is there any way to find out if USCIS has sent waiver approval to NVC? Every time I call NVC to inquire, they’re not helpful! Just trying to figure out my timeline if it’s even possible

Unfortunately you can't check this step. I had similar problems with NVC. USCIS didn't notify NVC from my filed waiver and schedule interview to me. NVC doesn't accept my copy from filed waiver..

Was it a filed waiver or approved waiver? So what do you do in that case? Reschedule interview?

Filed waiver. I sent several emails and phone calls to NVC but they didn't help. I contacted with consulate and ask cancel interview. Consulate was very helpful and said my waiver will be approved they will give me new date immediately.

Hi Clarebear101,

I did online request what you mentioned last time two weeks ago. I got this email from USCIS:

....

The status of this service request is:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received. If after 60 days you have not received anything in the mail, please contact the USCIS Contact Center (NCSC) at the number provided below.

And I still did not receive notice from my waiver by NVC. Did you get same asnwer from USCIS when you sent the online request?
Thank you for your help.

Sylvia

I requested the same delivery of notice for NVC. Got the exact same response. I don't know why it has to be approved and they can't just send the notification for pending 601a still. Will wait for final decision now for next 60 days.

Hi Andy,

Did you check your account on USCIS? When did your waiver receive and office?

Mine received Aug 16th.

I got this answer for request on February 12th but account show some update on February 9th. Maybe, officer got my case for final decision...

And maybe get final answer in 60 days.

Really? Every time I've called NVC with questions, they've been super helpful.  They are entitled to give you a status on your visa case, including whether or not USCIS has informed them of your 601a approval.  From the timelines on this thread, it looks as if it takes USCIS anywhere from 3-6 weeks to inform NVC of the 601a approval.

Ugh so frustrating!  I am at a loss with USCIS; in my personal experiences, when I called, the agents were always generally confused and thought I was talking about getting my FINAL decision on the 601a when I was simply asking for them to notify NVC of my PENDING 601a... it took me 2 calls and an online inquiry for them to finally get what I was requesting...

Very frustrating.. I'm not sure why some people do get email from nvc for pending 601a and some don't (system issues?). They are probably confused about what I asking. Had PENDING in caps just like yours but still telling me to wait.
