Update

- Biometrics taken 9/7

-AOF and DS-260 submitted 9/7

Now we wait! 😆

Are you already submitted DS-260 and AOS after bio? I confused, my lawyer said wait until waiver approved...but lot of people said I can send them before. I worry NVC close my case again...1 year without communication close to me. Help!

Hi,

I was told to submit my I601A first, and once I received my appointment for biometrics to submit my DS260 and AOF because if they received those two before my I601A being approved wouldnt be a good idea. You want to make sure your I601A is waved before receiving a consular appointment date.

I suggest you call them and let them know you are currently working on your case and you do not want them to close it. I had to call them twice to let them know not to close mine. You then receive an email from them confirming the case will remain open.

Thank you so much for your help.

I will follow your instructions.

I applied for I601A in August.

Bio appointment Sept 28.

I just start to collect information to fill out both form.

I have other questions:

When I fill the DS-260 , do I need to use my address here in State as permanent and mailing address ?

How is the other address? I lived few different places but same country from age 16. Do I need to fill all of them?

I do appreciate for your help. 😀

what do you mean by "collect information to fill out both forms"?

I'm assuming you mean your DS260 since you already sent your I601A and already received your BIO appointment.

yes, you do need to use your address in which you currently reside as your address but you can use a different address as your mailing address.

you must provide all adresses where you have lived since age 16.

I thought for DS-260 and I864.

I did I601A with my lawyer but I can`t afford the next step with NVC...I try to do it myself.

Thank you again.

You have to say yes. They know it by your taxes. I am also self employed. I think they want to know if you are a productive member of society. They know that we all have to work without a legal working permit. I don't think it's used agains you. I've read many post of people in similar circumstances and their visas were approved. Good luck!
