Hi,

I’ve been following this site for several months. Today I received my approval for my 601A provisional waiver on the mail.

This Is my timeline:

Dec1, 2017 601A receipt date.

Jan 5, 2018 Biometric taken

May 1, 2018 Case  transfer to Nebraska

June 21, 2018 submitted inquiry

August 16, 2018 Waiver approved

Whole process took 8 months. Like the previous person said, don’t relay on the website, for someone reason it’s not being updated. My status still shows that my case was transfer to Nebraska.

For those that are still waiting for an answer don’t lose hope..🙏🏻

Congratulations on your approval!!!

I’ve seen a few approvals on different sites and Facebook pages lately and 4 have been from December and 2 from January. It is moving along I think just very slowly

Finally got receipt date for 601a waiver for my husband, @ Potomac

Sent I-601A:  8/7/2018

Receipt Date: 8/10/2018

Check Cashed: 8/16/2018

Mailed Postmark from Potomac to CA: 8/20/18

Received in mail: 8/23/2018

Based on looking through posts, expect biometrics appointment around Sept 10. Then we wait.  Anyone else at Potomac?  Very little on I601a processing times for Potomac yet?

Thankfully the name is an easy fix. What’s important is that they received it and now it’s just about playing the waiting game. Thanks for letting us know that they are working on February. That means my husband should hear something soon!! Good luck to you 👍🙏

Hi, the name change should take about 3 weeks according to them. I also received my biometrics appointment for 9/7/18 😀

Haven't seen too many updates on timelines similar to ours. Our waiver was received April 12, 2018.   Biometrics complete and now just in waiting mode. Anyone else around the same time period?

Our waiver was received April 5, 2018, our biometrics were completed in May, and we're still waiting for our approval. Going into our 5th month now. Remaining positive!

My husband missed his appoinment also. He did go in the same day however. His appointment was at a certain time and he was there like 3 hours late. We just showed up with the receipt that we got in the mail asking him to come in for the biometrics appointment and they saw him.

You should also ask your lawyer why when they received your appointment letter they didn’t call you to make sure you received it too. They get a copy of everything and I’m sure they got it days ago. Our lawyer calls us to make sure we get what he gets and even reminds us the day before about appointments so we don’t miss anything. I mean, we are paying them a lot of money and to miss important steps like this is tough. Luckily this is ok but I would be on top of them after this to make sure they keep me informed. Just some friendly advice. I’ve been dealing with lawyers since 2015 and so ready to be done with all or this! Good luck to you on your journey 😀

Congratulations! I have a question my husband and I have been waiting on the I-601A approval but the six months have passed already I know that the waiting is six to eight months (follow it online) should I submit the inquiry as well? What was the answered you received when you submitted the inquiry? When you submitted yours did your case moved faster?
