good news this weekend I finally received my approval notice for my 601A waiver. so I guess Juarez is next.

Doesn't anyone know the steps to follow? Do I fly to Juarez or do I have to cross walking?

This Is my timeline:

dec 5 2017 submitted my 601A waiver

dec 28 2017 Biometric taken

april 26 2018 waiver transfer to Nebraska

jun 27 2018 submitted inquiry

july 6 2018 received answer from inquiry (I should get a decision or might rewith in 60 days of the this notice)

My husband is from Honduras but our timeline is very similar . We also submitted in Dec 2017, biometircs was Jan 18, our case was transferred to Nebraska in April 18, inquiry in June and we recieved approval this weekend. Good luck from here on out!

Small update: we received the Police Certificate yesterday

To get the certificate we had to go to our local consulate here in the US where they prepared a packet with power of attorney and identification papers. Then my sister flew to Mexico to turn it in personally (didn't want to take any chances) with two witnesses and received it that same day. Now she's on the way back and we'll turn in the DS-260 as soon as she's here.

Congratulations.

That all depends on the DS-260, the I864 and all the paperwork you submit to the NVC.  I'm guessing it will take the NVC a month or so to process your information and when they are satisfied, they'll email you letting you know they will schedule your appointment.  Waiting for that appointment could take as little as a month, or maybe as many as three.  So I wouldn't be making any travel plans quite just yet.

Hello,

I just sent my 601A on Wednesday July 25, 2018 and they received it on Friday the 27th. I will keep you guys posted on my timeline. Good Luck to everyone! :)

So I received my receipt notice today 8/17/18 just to find out that my last name is missing 1 letter 🤦‍♀️

I also spoke to someone and they said they are currently working on February 2018 cases.

Thankfully the name is an easy fix. What’s important is that they received it and now it’s just about playing the waiting game. Thanks for letting us know that they are working on February. That means my husband should hear something soon!! Good luck to you 👍🙏

Hi,

I’ve been following this site for several months. Today I received my approval for my 601A provisional waiver on the mail.

This Is my timeline:

Dec1, 2017 601A receipt date.

Jan 5, 2018 Biometric taken

May 1, 2018 Case  transfer to Nebraska

June 21, 2018 submitted inquiry

August 16, 2018 Waiver approved

Whole process took 8 months. Like the previous person said, don’t relay on the website, for someone reason it’s not being updated. My status still shows that my case was transfer to Nebraska.

For those that are still waiting for an answer don’t lose hope..🙏🏻
