Hello!! I have been checking on the proccesing time everyday and i noticed today that nebraska center changes before it was taking between 2.5-6 months but today it says that is taking between 6-8 months. I called the costumer service on june 19 and I was told that they were processing cases from january 26. I filed mine on march 20 did fingerprints on april 24 and since then i have not heard anything from the uscis. Also before the inquiry date was january 5 /2018 today went back to november 10/2017. What i think is a lot cases were moved to the nebraska center recently and that is probably why they are expecting to take longer.

Yes I believe so. I filed back on 12/05/17. Biometrics 12/26/17. Case transfer to Nebraska office on 4/28/18. I submitted a inquiry about my case on 6/22/18. Finally on 6/29/18 I got a response back, it said I should be hearing back with in 60 days from the day I got the email. So fingers crossed.

I wish you the best!! Please keep us updated with your case. The way i see it  i think on my case i will have to wait for at least 5 more months. I do not know if you guys have noticed but when you go the website and trying to check on a i601a  cases does not show the benefit center anymore it only shows nebraska center, so I believe all i601a cases may be transfered to the nebraska center. And because of that they probably will take care first of the cases from last 6-7 months, which I believe is fair.

Hey guys!! I just calle the uscis. And was told that the nebraska center it is working on cases of November12 of 2017. The  estimated time it actually changed due to a number of factor that they did not explain to me. So basically now instead of taking between 2.5-6 months is going to take between 6-8 months. Which means longer waiting time for some of us. IT SUCKS!!

Hi David I have been reading your post. Thanks for the info you have shared. So this means that USCIS restarted the dates? And its no longer on Jan 26, 18 date like you posted?

Hello maricr!! Yes, i believe it kind restared, but also I was told that the time frame in the website is just for reference sometinea it could take less. The way I see it in the longest could probably take 8 months. I received a notification from a guy yesterday (this is from another blog) that his took exactly 6 months with 6 days, so we just have to wait!!

Hello friends. So happy I found this thread. Although not from Mexico and from Pakistan. This is my timeline.

Applied Jan 18th

Biometrics Feb 20th.

My case is in Nebraska center. So I can assume max time is 8 months? Also how long do we have to go back to the embassy back home for? My job doesn’t allow more than a week to be away so I am definitely worried. Any help would be appreciated. Sending positive vibes to you all :-).
