Hello! I am new to the thread, I've been reading each and every one of the updates. I'm glad some of you guys have already received the approval. Currently me and my husband are doing the same as many of you guys waiting..... we submitted our waiver packet (I601A) on 6/15/2018 and was received on 6/25/2018 we got our receipt on July 2 2018. We are currently waiting on the biometric appointment. I really hope this doesn't take long!

Hello friends. So happy I found this thread. Although not from Mexico and from Pakistan. This is my timeline.

Applied Jan 18th

Biometrics Feb 20th.

My case is in Nebraska center. So I can assume max time is 8 months? Also how long do we have to go back to the embassy back home for? My job doesn’t allow more than a week to be away so I am definitely worried. Any help would be appreciated. Sending positive vibes to you all :-).

Hello!! I believe your waiting time for approval it should not been that long from now. At your country not really sure how long would you have to spend there, but I am from El Salvador and as far as I know you have to take the medical exams at least 10 before your interview and then after the interview you have to wait like 5 days for them to give you back the passport so I would say if everything goes ok, you coul probably spend between 2-3 weeks.

It wouldnt be that long for you to get the bio appointment, they probably would scheduled you around 30 days after they received your application, so I would say by july 25-30. Good luck and welcome to the “601a waiters club”.

Hi! Welcome.  It's a process.  Hopefully you'll be getting your biometri appt. soon.  After that is should be around 6-8months according to some.

We're sending our I601a on July 13 2018

Is the processing time still 4-6 months or is it longer

I know it was 4-6months.  But my attny had mentioned that they bumped it to 8-12months.  We got our approval in 6 months.  Sent it in Jan 2018 and approved on June30th.

So did he get two interviews?  Do you mind me asking what paperwork they requested?  something we might need?

Were filing our I 601a the 13 of July 2018 .

Is the processing time still as fast ? Or has it slowed down , also did you go with you're spouse ?

i honestly dont know how processing time was before but we started march 2016 and every time we filed for something we got response between 3-5 months. Until we had to send out packet with forms and prove that we are married and am born here and sponsors tax forms  and include a waiver n all that good stuff. Was from november 2016 and received a replie in summer of 2017 that visa was approved and waiver was approved january 2018 and then after that it was pretty quick.  We got a letter march to wait to receive appointment. In april we receive letter for interview appt for june 13.

Yes i did go to juarez with him and alot of people do take their families and its not that bad just hot lol i was there for 3 weeks in a hotel accross the consulate
