Hi guys...

Yet again I have come across conflicting comments and advice.

A number of you have said the Intent MUST BE SIGNED IN BLACK INK.

A great number also say it does not matter either black or blue.

I know the forms MUST be filled out with black ink because it says so in the instructions but no where did I read that the Intent signatures MUST BE IN BLACK INK!??

whaaaaaaaat the?

Mine has both of our sigs in BLUE?

:/

its the only pen we had around us at the moment.

Please clarify :)

Thanks

While I think it should be fine, I stay safe and just use black ink for everything. It's just neutral. So maybe for future paperwork stick with black ink.

Personally, much ado about nothing....  Only place it says black ink is for the petition.

Make a photocopy of each...  Walaaaa...  It is black ink

It does not matter. We used one intent to letter for both and one signed in black and the other in blue. It did not make a difference. We weren’t paying attention to ink in any of the forms we filled out. I don’t think USCIS does either.
