There’s a big difference between being a sponsor and paying for the ticket. The invitation letter and evidence of income and such is not part of their consideration. That’s right from the DOS.

Financially responsible, well you pick up their bills, say for example they had a car accident or medical fees.

And therein lies your answer to the question you've been asking me.  Anyway, like I said a few comments above, I now understand why you've all been saying this isn't sponsorship.
