My wife had her interview on july 24 2017 got the 5535 in sep and that was approved on nov 28.. now its been past 7 months and haven't heard anything... every time I email them i get the same answer about being in admin procces.. My queation is if it was approved in Nov what the hell are they waiting for.. seriously i dont know what to do and why its taking forever even tho eveything is clear... anyone going thru the same thing as me?

Some people are in AP for weeks, some for months, some even for years, unfortunately.

It's the last stage of background checks, etc. that they do before issuing the visa.

 

Was it approved in Nov 2017, or Nov 2018?

I would hope we haven't time jumped for it to be past Nov 2018 yet, I really miss my husband

Ugh...got stuck in a time warp there for a second....still on my first coffee

I know the feeling got about 3 hours of sleep before I had to be at work again I work about 16 hours a day  just thought to make you laugh

U will get ur visa soon our interview was in march and did the ds5535 in july we were married Saturday. He was issued in February ur next im sure

So about 10 to 11 months in ap... But I'm not even getring any updates tho.. Like they have so many cases come in everyday imagine mine got stuck under like 1000 cases..  been over 3 months and no update

Get a senator not a congressman in involved we were in ap 10 months u will get it soon as they ask for medical
