can I interview overseas?

I am an Australian married to a US citizen I filed my I130 petition from Australia. I am considering moving to Canada ( with an appropriate visa) to live with my brother until I can get my green card. can I apply for the IR-1/CR1 from a difference country?  can i do my interview in Canada or will i have to return to Australia? i guessing I can Change my address somehow? Somewhere? if anyone has any info or advice i would really appreciate it.

If you have legal status in Canada for more than 6 months then you are able to interview

Yes you can. My husband is going to do the same thing. He's an indian passport holder living legally in Canada. He is going to be interviewed in Ottawa, Canada.
