I filed Petitions for my wife, and her two minor children February 22, 2018 in Manila. We are doing Direct Consular Filing, since we are from the Philippines and I am a permanent resident of the Philippines. How long do you think it will take do us to get our approvals? The instructions say 3 to 6 months, but I thought the lady at window 24, 25, told us 30 to 60 days. We a praying for fast approval! When will it happen, huh? Who do we contact, phone numbers, email addresses to check on the status of our Petitions, when they will be approved? Thank you!

Our experience with DCF was more along the lines of 30-60 days however (disclaimer) it was not in Manila.  The longest step in the process was getting the police certificate.

To make example our Packet III was received in about 2 weeks.

The whole thing bypassed NVC and USCIS in the US and it was pretty much processed via emails directly from the embassy.  I would assume that your case would probably be handled in a similar manner which means that the IV unit at the embassy would be your primary contact.

They spent more time on me (USC) and my ties and my intentions than my wife and my biggest hurdle was the support affidavit (assets only) because unless you work for a US company and you are getting transferred back any income overseas is pretty much discounted.  SO:  make sure your US ties are in place, you can overcome the support hurdle, and you should be good to go.  Good luck!

Less than 30 days for me. You can hope for 30-60 days or less (I hope!), that's a reasonable timeline already. Goodluck and DCF is the fastest route there is so time will go by so fast.
