Hello everone!

We had our interview this morning and everything went smoothly. They did also give us the paper that PedroDaGr8 got (that says about further check or so) but literally 3 hours later we got an email and sms saying that our card is being produced.

Any idea how long it takes until they mail the card?

Thank you!

Roughly one week.

Our interview was last Tuesday (Dec. 11) and today (Dec. 19) we received her GC! Oddly enough, we received her acceptance letter today as well.

Hey!

I arrived there in time for my interview although I didn't get in until an hour later. Brought with me all the documents that were asked on my official letter although they only wanted some of them. They wanted to see pictures and wanted to know where does he work, where do i work, where did we get married, what was I doing somewhere I was living before, how many languages do I speak since the last country I was living in, was a different country than Spain and last, who was in my wedding. I gave the paystubs, last year tax, proof of living together like USPS digest that shows letters of my husband and I coming into the house, car insurance, retirement paper that shows both of our names, dental and medical insurance with our names, bank account with both of our names and safe with our names. They also asked me ALL the questions of my AOS application.

I believe that's all we gave. They didn't ask for our medical stuff. At the end they gave us a paper saying that our case was gonna be reviewed and if everything was alright, we would get a letter.

I left and 3 hours later I got an email and sms saying our card was being produced!

By the way, to park inside you have to pay $7. Just saying because my husband thought it was $5 😅

Our order seems to be backwards with USCIS! lol!  From Green card being printed, to being approved, to our green card being sent in the mail to letting us know that they are sending us a letter with instructions about the green card!  Time line wise December 19 interview, December 21 Green card being printed and today December 27 Greencard being mailed. So that's about 9 days altogether.  Part of this is I think becasue of the Christmas holiday.  I didn't expect to hear anything till January.  But I am happy it is finally on it's way!  I will be glad when I have it in my hands!  Finally!!!  I will post when it is recieved.

Ok Everyone

WE had our interview December 19 and recieved our Green card today December 30th.  Did anyone aked to get their Green card printed with their married last name?  And when it got printed did they comply by sending you card with your married last name on it.  We asked for my  card to be printed in my married last name but when it arrived it was in my maiden name!  Gak!  Now we have to phone in to have it changed.

Hey! When they asked me my legal name and any previous names, I gave my current legal name (aka the one I got after I married) and the one I still have in my country (my country doesn't allow to get your husband's name). Anyway, I got my card with my current legal name. I am surprised you got it with your maiden. When you filed AOS, did you file with your maiden or married name?
