Letter from USCIS - What could it be?

We sent our I-129F petition to the USCIS in early February (this year).  We received the email & text notification of acceptance, my check was cashed, and we received the NOA1 in the mail on February 20 with case number & notice that it was forwarded to the CSC.

We also are signed up on the USCIS website & app.

I checked my USPS Informed Delivery this morning & I have a letter being delivered later today from USCIS in Californina dated March 1.  I have no idea what this might be. Does anyone have any idea?  Naturally, I'm a little worried.

Our case status on the USCIS website & app are still listed as "Case Was Received", as they have been all along.

Thank you!

Thanks Oakmen.  I appreciate the reply!

I was not expecting anything else from them for quite a while & seeing this being delivered today really surprised me.

Okay. Mystery solved!

And I think this might be one for the record books.

I hired an immigration attorney to assist with the I-129F filing (before I found VJ).

The attorney entered her OWN ADDRESS incorrectly on the G-28 form. So the NOA1 was undeliverable. smh

Now the USCIS thinks my fiancée has moved and sent me a form AR-11 Alien Change of Address form.

So what do I do now to correct this (besides telling the attorney “goodbye”)? Neither my nor my fiancée’s address has changed. But the address listed for my attorney to receive documents is incorrect & needs to be adjusted.  I’m guessing this doesn’t happen too often.

Happily I can laugh about it now but this was a super stressful day at the office wondering what the USCIS mailed to me.
