I guess May filers should look at the bright side. We will have the distinction of being the month with the greatest number of filers without approval over 90 days. I want to be the first to thank USCIS for this great honor! :jest:

Another may approval to report for everyone (no not mine yet).... I just checked my lawyers "transparent office" which lists all their active petitions and I see one that was filed 5-3-07 now shows approved as of 9-17-07. My file date was the same so you can imagine the addrenaline rush when I first glanced at it.... <sigh> Oh well, at least I know I should be getting close now. Hopefully that petition was in the same box as mine since it was filed by the same attorney on the same day. Keeping my fingers crossed.

4/6/07 - Contacted attorney John Roth

5/1/07 - Petition mailed to Texas Service Center

5/7/07 - NOA1 - Petition at CSC

9/19/07 - Approved!! NOA2 - 139 days from filing!!! (mine and several other VJ members petitions were delayed in the mail room on this approval date)

9/20/07 - Postmark for NOA2 hardcopy

9/24/07 - Hardcopy NOA2 received

10/26/07 - Sent to NVC - 43 Days from NOA2 (2 weeks late thanks to the fine folks at CSC mail room!)

11/02/07 - Case received at NVC - Finally!

11/06/07 - Case left NVC - Finally efficient results from the government!

11/14/07 - DOS advises packet has been mailed to Beth. No dates given yet...

11/15/07 - Grace at USE says nothing mailed to Liberty yet.

But she became "documentarily qualified" today, so check back soon.

11-19-07 - Dates assigned on the website!

11-20-07 - Packet 4 postmarked

11-27-07 - Packet arrives

12-07-07 - Copy of Appointment letter arrives in USA. postmark date: 12-05-07

12-27-07 - Assigned Medical Date

12-20 & 21 - Early Medical -- COMPLETED

01-03-08 - USEM Interview -- Approved!!

01-08-08 - Visa pick-up at USEM (3 business days wait because of weekend)

Submitted docs for AOS ...but ,very unfortunately, my husband had to return back to Ukraine due to emergency without travel document (AP)

Byron is VCS the national visa center? sorry still learning all the lingo. I think it has just been approved at CSC and will now be sent to the visa center. At least that's my limited understanding.

BTW, can someone point me to the RFE trick I keep hearing about?

I don't have my NOA1 it was sent to my attorney. I do have the WAC number though. I know CSC has it.
