Sadly, I am a May filer that has yet to receive the NOA2....how sad :crying:

You are not alone in that respect. Many of us May filers have not received our NOA2's yet. It makes it very hard to plan out your life when the timelines keep changing on a daily basis. Approvals have gone from an historical 90 days, to 120 days and climbing within the last month or so. If I would have known this when I filed, maybe it would have been somewhat easier. Not knowing the average approval time is starting to get to me. Guess I am having a bad day :help:

NOT KNOWING WHEN I WILL GET APPROVED IS EVEN WORST!!! THIS MUST BE WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE SUCKED INTO A BLACK HOLE!!!! :blink:

Happy Monday May Filers! So, I have a question...I called CSC on Friday and got the usual touch later that afternoon. BUT I got another touch today, three days later. Anyone else call on Friday and get a touch today? I don't want to get my hopes up yet again, but it seems weird to get a touch that many days later. Oh please let it be NOA2!!!!

I have called USCIS many times and never got a touch! NEVER! It also happen to another VJ members.....so I don't know how true is that...

I'm sure this has been discussed but I probably missed out on it while out on vacation trying to get my mind off this! but now vacation is over and its September and still NO APPROVAL!!! I also, never received my NOA1 and didn't care too much for it (from talks bout NOA1 on the site) but then decided in August I should at least call and make sure they got the Application and the correct address on file and whatnot..... or at least to make sure there is something on the other side of the 800 #, so I got my NOA1 sometime early August, but my Priority date is May 23, which was when I mailed it to Texas, and now i'm in the holding pattern like all the other may filers yet to be approved!!!!! :unsure: I called this past Tues/Wed and never received a touch when I checked my status online! hope to get one soon! a REAL touch!!!

Did any of you buy a diamond at bluenile.com ? Their prices for a two carat diamond are pretty reasonable considering the

four Cs of color, clarity, cut, and carat... Their profit margins are half of what the jewelry stores charge and you do not pay any tax....just wondering....

And don't worry...our NOA2s are on the way......

My cousin is a jeweler so I got a pretty good deal through him. I wasn't comfortable buying a diamond online when I had looked at many in person. The diamond buying process is strange in that sometimes you can look at a stone and just like it despite the 4 C's. I saw some stones that looked good on paper, but just didn't look good to my eyes.

Sometime in April: Mailed I129F to USCIS

5/31/2007 ~ NAO1 (online)

9/6/2007 ~ Touch (used RFE trick)

9/24/2007 ~ NAO2 (online and email)
