We've been approved since 08/31. I found this out this morning by calling USCIS. Supposedly, USCIS mailed me an approval notice on September 4th, 2007. Good luck those that are still waiting!!

So, I called CSC again today. I think I'm nearing the breaking point. The person I spoke to was nice, but offered no information, as usual. She says we haven't been assigned yet. I started crying on the phone. It was bad . She was sympathetic, but kept repeating they were processing cases from six months ago and I should hear something within 60 days. They must be forced to say that. I won't call anymore, it doesn't help. I hope next week brings more approvals for the rest of us here. I know there is an end to this, but I just hope it comes soon!!!

I know it is tough but have faith. This is just one step in the entire process and once you get passed this everything else will fall into place.

I called VSC today using the RFE trick but this lady told me to call customer service!

Of course I didn't call...They will give the 6 months bull...

I have called USCIS twice with not satisfaction whatsoever. Some people are able to find comforting news when they call. All I get is frustrated, so I do not think I will call anymore.

I think for me, one of the hardest things (in addition to the wait) about this process is that prior to July, it seemed the timelines for NOA2's were historically right on and you had an idea about how long it was going to take for each phase. You actually could start to plan things. I have several friends that went through this process prior to me and each one was approved in less than 90 days (all filed with CSC). Now it seems that NO ONE has ANY idea how long it will take to get approved, thus your life remains in a perpetual holding pattern.

Another long weekend is here. I am still hoping for the best for all of us May filers.

Hey Arinola, was there any change in status on your USCIS account, or does it still say "Received and pending"? I have had touches but I am not able to get a status update on my account.

I've tried calling CSC, but they have refused to give me any information lately on my petition.

The TSC does not do I-129. They send them to other centers.
